Fed Cattle
USDA reported on Thursday afternoon that negotiated cash trade has been mostly inactive on light to moderate demand in the Texas Panhandle. The last established market in the Texas Panhandle was last week at 240.00. Negotiated cash trade has been limited on light to moderate demand in Kansas, with a few early live purchases at 240.00, although not enough for an adequate market test. The last established market in Kansas was last week at 240.00. Negotiated cash trade in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt has been light on moderate demand. Compared to last week in Nebraska, dressed purchases have been 5.00-8.00 lower at 370.00. The last established live market in Nebraska was last week with live purchases from 238.00-240.00, mostly 240.00. Compared to last week in the Western Cornbelt, live purchases have been steady to 3.00 lower at 237.00. The last established dressed market in the Western Cornbelt was last week from 375.00-378.00, mostly 375.00.
