Wednesday Regional Auction Reports

 

Fed Cattle: 
USDA reported on Thursday afternoon that negotiated cash trade in the Texas Panhandle has been limited on moderate demand with a few purchases at 234.00-235.00, however not enough for an adequate market test. The last established market in the Texas Panhandle was Wednesday at 235.00. Negotiated cash trade in Kansas has been moderate on very good demand with live purchases 3.00-8.00 higher, compared to last week, from 233.00-238.00. Negotiated cash trade in Nebraska was light on moderate demand with early dressed purchases steady compared to last week at 380.00. The latest live market in Nebraska was last week from 240.00-244.00. Negotiated cash trade in the Western Cornbelt has been mostly inactive on moderate demand. The latest established market in the Western Cornbelt was last week with live purchases from 240.00-242.00 and dressed purchases at 380.00
