How TCR Works: Terms & Conditions
The Cattle Range Facilitates Private Treaty Sales...
Buyers & Sellers Deal Directly
The cost to post a 120-Day Listing is $15.00...
- There is NO Fee for cattle SOLD via TCR… The listing fee is the only cost.
- Listings will not be processed unless payment is received.
- TCR treats the Canadian Dollar and the U.S. Dollar as being of equal value.
- Enhancements are available to make “Cattle for Sale Listings” more visible on the site. “Click Here” for information on these listing enhancements.
TCR’s listing platform provides users the ability to add photos and YouTube Video URL’s at the time the listing is being submitted, or later, by logging into the user’s account.
If you require TCR to place the photos on your listing or process your raw video files, you will need to choose or upgrade to a $50 Premium Listing.
Photos submitted via the listing submission are automatically formatted for optimum viewing on a webpage while those sent to TCR for placement on the listing have to be manually formatted and placed on the listing. Raw video files sent to TCR have to be uploaded and processed on YouTube before the URL can be placed on the listing.
Both of these processes are time consuming and the $15 and $35 listing options are insufficient to justify the time and cost involved.
Bear in mind that Premium Listings are more visible on the site and typically receive more ‘clicks’.
Listing submissions are subject to approval. TCR reserves the right to decline posting listings with offensive content, unreasonable conditions, or determined to be fraudulent.
If a listing submission is not approved, the listing fee will be refunded unless the submission is determined to be fraudulent, in which case, the listing fee will be forfeited.
TCR is not responsible for incorrect listing information, typos, or other errors appearing on listings.
Contact information is displayed on your listing. TCR is not responsible for any misuse of this information.
Information contained within a listing is not guaranteed by The Cattle Range. We make no warranty, expressly or implied, as to the accuracy of the listing information contained within or the performance of buyer or seller.
Accordingly, prospective buyers should exercise sufficient due diligence to ensure the livestock are as described and that the price and terms of sale are appropriate. Buyers who are not experienced and sophisticated cattlemen should seek advice and counsel if unsure about a transaction prior to making a commitment or completing a transaction.
Sellers should exercise due caution to ensure they receive payment in full, especially if the livestock are going out-of-state.
Listing information is subject to error, omissions, prior sale, change(s) or withdrawal without notice, and approval of the purchase by owner.
Unless otherwise agreed, buyers do not have to accept unmerchantable livestock... This includes, but is not limited to cripples, bad eyes, lumps, chronics, quinines, locos, and sick animals.
