Roanie was started
three years ago and has always been in a ranch or feedyard situation. He
has a ton of heart and is darn near bomb proof. You can put him up for
a couple months and when you come back he is the same horse. Roanie has
been used for gathering, brandings, and doctoring pasture cattle also.
He will work a cow, but he is not a cutter.

As far as bits,
he can ride in anything from a snaffle to a correction bit. I also started
team roping on him this summer on the heading side and he shows a lot of
potential.
