Gripple on barbed wire...

. n..Gripple is a connector, splice, and tensioner for use on all types of wire. Gripple eliminates the need for stretchers, ratchets, crimps, crimping tools, wire splices, and tying wire by hand. It operates like a Chinese finger trap with one-way locking channels.  The wire passes through the Gripple in one direction, then ceramic rollers and steel springs lock the wire and prevent it from going back the other way. To prevent rust and corrosion on the exterior, the housing of the Gripple is composed of a zinc-aluminum alloy.  Internally, ceramic rollers are used to combat rust and corrosion.

. n..The Gripple Tensioning Tool tightens the wire through the Gripple... Pull the handles away from each other to open the cam, grab the end of the wire that's to be pulled through the Gripple, butt the jaw of the tool up against the Gripple, then crank the handles of the tool together.  This tightens the wire. The tool is gear-driven and can supply 880 lbs of tension.  The tool is made of glass-filled nylon, so it's very light-weight and durable. The tool is 100% guaranteed. Because of the small size and light weight of the tool, it can easily be carried on foot, horseback, truck, tractor, or atv.

Using Gripples on 17 strand deer fence...

This is the Gripple brace post cable...

. n..It is 5/32", 16.5 ft long, 7 strands of 7 wires with a class 3 galvanization... The cable is used with a Large Gripple and is rated at 1,320 lbs of load. Use the Gripple Tensioning Tool to tighten the cable. The Gripple brace post cable can be strung in less than 1 minute! It saves lots of time and labor in comparison to the traditional way of twisting wire to brace corner posts.

. n..The Gripple T-Clip eliminates the need to hand-tie at end post and corner posts... Use with staples to get the ultimate secure attachment at end posts for field fence and barb wire.
