These cattle are the result of 3 generations of AI breeding...
  • Purchased as bred heifers from Circle S Ranch in Hays, Kansas.  Circle S was a cooperator herd from R.A. Brown Ranch and Gardner Angus Ranch. They are moderate on milk and frame score.  They can thrive on grass and make a living with minimal or no supplementation.  They are extremely quiet and easy to handle.  They have been in a rotational grazing system and are broke to the truck.  The cattle have been handled 5 or more times per year.
  • The steers have been purchased by the same buyer for the past 3 years.  They have really performing well in Nebraska feedlots:
    • 2007 calves: .92/cwt @ 785 lbs.
    • 2008 calves: 1.06/cwt @ 700 lbs.
    • 2009 calves: .97/cwt @ 700 lbs.
